Love Your Planet: Recycled Products

As I mentioned before, I was also Product Designer during my appearance in Love Your Planet organisation. The aim was to take any material (glass bottles, newspaper, pulltabs, etc) and recycle/upcycle it into new usable product.

Here are some examples:

Anything is useful when you are upcycling

Book marker

Cans

Pulltabs jewellery

Old towels cut into stripes and transformed into bath rug. See instructions here.

All photographs are my own and therefore are subjected to copyright matter.

Love Your Planet: Recycle Event

On 25th of August, 2012 we prepared our very 1st event about recycling. This event was created to show people how they can use different materials, what materials they can recycle and what happens if they ignore recycling. There were several stands, each contributed to different materials.

Here is a short video from the event:

Video is created and edited by very talented videographer Justyna Rude.

Love Your Planet

About a year ago, I started to cooperate with non-profit organisation Love Your Planet, founded by my good friend and designer Lucia Poliovkova. The aim of the group is to spread a word about recycling, healthy living, in general to educate people about environmental topics.

My position in the organisation was as a Creative Designer helping with recycled product designs, advertising and branding.

At first I designed logo of the organisation:

Brief was to put together 3 keywords: Love, Planet and Recycle.

Logo was used in different variations of advertisement:

T-shirt print

Reusable Plain Cotton Bag

DIY instruction manuals:

And of course paper type of advertisement:
