Ideal Home October Issue

I've subscribed to magazine Ideal Home and I just cannot get enough of it. It's published every month and the content is marvellous for a passionate Interior designer such as I am. You can find a mind-blowing inspiration there regarding colours, fabrics, wallcoverings, furniture or just simple decorations. There are no boundaries to styles, so either you are a person with modern taste or your are a traditionalism freak like me, there is always something interesting for both of us.

What has caught my eye in October issue?

Gamekeeper's Lodge Moodboard

What interested me the most in this design is the choice of paint for the feature wall (chimney breast and surround in the same colour from Farrow and Ball) and the wallpaper for the wall behind it. The feature wall stands out perfectly.

Like the idea of lighting over the bed, the warm colour palette, which invites you to lay in bed and fall asleep.

Woodland-inspired interior

Beautiful colours and pattern of the upholstery used for the armchair and footstool (both Henshaw Check)

Here, believe it or not, I wasn't attracted by the competition, beautiful wooden table with white flower pattern caught my eye and straight away I fell in love with it. This living room is perfect combination of furniture style and colour palette. (House of Fraser's exclusive home brand Linea)

It's bursting with colour

And here is example of modern style design, very bald and playful combination of colours, which works great for the kitchen and dining area.
